Yes, we can transform your current shower into a steam shower. This process involves selecting the appropriate steam generator, ensuring proper electrical connections, and designing a suitable shower enclosure. After working with your General Contractor to properly build out your steam space, our experienced team will guide you through glass design and selection process to provide you with a functional and luxurious steam shower.
We provide a variety of glass options, including clear, low-iron (ultra-clear), frosted, textured, and tinted glass. Each type offers different levels of transparency and privacy, allowing you to choose the perfect fit for your bathroom’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
To keep your frameless glass shower doors looking pristine, clean them regularly using a mixture of white vinegar and warm water or a non-abrasive commercial glass cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that can scratch the glass. After each use, squeegee the glass to prevent water spots and soap scum buildup.
Properly installed frameless shower enclosures are designed to minimize leaks. However, water can still escape through the openings needed to allow for proper function. Our expert installation ensures that seals and alignments are correctly set to keep water as contained as possible within the shower area with minimal use of extra plastics. Regular maintenance and prompt attention to any issues will help maintain their watertight integrity.
We offer a range of hardware finishes to complement your bathroom decor, including brushed nickel, matte black, oil-rubbed bronze, brushed bronze, polished chrome, satin brass, and polished nickel. Each finish provides a unique aesthetic, allowing you to customize your shower enclosure to your taste. Please be mindful that shower hardware manufacturers are different than other bathroom fixture manufacturers, so colors may vary slightly. This is especially true for shades of gold and brass.
For minor scratches, you can use non-gel toothpaste or a paste made from baking soda and water. Apply the paste to the scratch with a soft cloth, rubbing in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water. For deeper scratches, it’s advisable to consult a professional to assess and address the damage appropriately.

Framed shower enclosures use metal framing around all edges of the glass for structural support, while frameless showers rely on thicker, tempered glass panels secured with minimal hardware. Frameless showers provide a sleek, modern look and are easier to clean, while framed options are typically more cost-effective and offer additional support.
Glass shower enclosures typically range in height from 72 to 96 inches, depending on your design preferences and space constraints. The standard glass thickness options include: •3/8 inch: Suitable for most frameless showers; offers a balance of durability and cost. •1/2 inch: Provides a more luxurious feel and increased sturdiness, especially for larger panels.
Our typical lead times for custom glass projects range from 7 to 10 business days from the time of measurement to installation. Lead times may vary depending on the complexity of the design, availability of materials, and scheduling. We strive to complete every project as quickly and efficiently as possible without compromising quality.
Channel installation consists of utilizing a low-profile channel to support the glass where it meets the tile surface along the wall and curb. No additional fabrication is needed for the glass when installing in channel, thus the cost tends to be a bit less. When clamps are used, the glass is notched before tempering to allow for the clamp to be properly installed. Typically 3-4 clamps are needed per stationary panel to mount to the curb/floor and the wall. Both provide adequate security for installation when installed properly.
The surface of glass under a microscope is not as smooth as one might expect. The application of FGC Armor fills the porous areas of the glass to allow for a smoother surface area. This makes cleaning much easier and discourages water from settling in the pores. FGC Armor is applied in the field and has a 10-year warranty. FGC Crystalline is pre-treated ultra clear glass with an additional Seal Pro to deflect buildup and stains from forming on the surface. FGC Crystalline has a lifetime warranty.
Mirrors are installed using a professional grade mirror mastic. This ultimately acts as a strong glue that adheres the mirror to the wall. Mirrors are often set in a j-channel or l-channel along the bottom for additional support. If mirrors have been installed using mastic and you’d like them removed, the texture and/or paint is often removed with it.
If tax was not included in your deposit payment, it will be added to the final balance. If your job is exempt from paying taxes, please send proper documentation to our office.
Carrying glass without the grip on the bottoms of shoes is a serious safety concern. We will take all other measures possible to ensure a clean work environment.
Our warranty covers our hardware and craftsmanship. It does not cover glass breakage as this is often human error.
We are not trained or insured to perform any work outside of the scope of removing and installing glass.
We do all that we can to protect the area during installation, however, sometimes damage is unavoidable. We do not know what is behind the surface area; often, there is not enough thin-set or studs. This leads to hollow space that can cause cracking or pulling when pressure is applied. We always recommend confirming with your GC that the area is suitable for the weight of frameless glass and having a few extra tiles on hand if needed. We are not responsible for repairing the damage in these situations.
